The Definitive Next Move for the Madden Franchise

Remember the good ol’ days of the mid-2000s. We were children back then, no older then 12 or 13. This was the Golden Age of Madden. Kids would go to their rooms and play for hours, and then, grab their PSP or DS so they could still play while scarfing down their dinner. Madden was everywhere. A lot of nostalgia was built up by running those weird blocky figures around the field to bring your favorite team and players to the Super Bowl. Madden today is certainly still fun and entertaining, but it seems as though something is missing. The graphics and physics are excellent, but it just doesn’t feel when you scrambling around the pocket with Russel Wilson, as it did with 2004’s Mike Vick. These were the thoughts in my head when I came up with the Best. Idea. Ever. EA Sports should remaster an old version of Madden for new consoles. That is why I came up with 4 reasons why madden should remake Madden 07 (objectively the best Madden in history).

6. The Tony Bruno Show

Nothing better than playing Be a Pro Mode and listening to the Tony Bruno Show.

5. It wouldn’t be that hard to make

I’m not a computer whiz, but I would imagine it would be fairly easy to make. The coding is there it just has to be changed to fit the new system.

4. Create a Playbook

Nothing better putting 10 down line-men down on defense, and lighting the quarterback up.

3. Madden Mini-games

Running-Back Challenge, Pocket Presence, Coffin Kicking, and the Coverage Challenge are literally the best things Madden has ever done.

2. It Would Make Ridiculous Amounts of Money

People love Madden. More importantly, people love old Madden. Release this at the right time and fans will flock to the store. You could even have a fan vote to decide which Madden gets remade.

This giant among men is the face of the best Madden Cover and the most devastating example of the Madden Curse. Look at him bringing back the elbow pads and the full mouth guard.
